What is the NICE Award? This European award aims to promote innovations from the cultural and creative industries and to make them visible. To the Call
What can I win? The winners of the NICE Award can get up to 20.000 Euros.
What does my application include? An online application form has to be filled in in English and complementary picture and text material has to be be added.
How long does the application take? Of course this differs from person to person, but the form can be filled in in less than 15 minutes.
Why do I have to submit a film? Part of the application process is the presentation of the ten best projects during the NICE Award Executive Dinner and Ceremony before the award is handed over by Prof Dr Andreas Pinkwart, Minister for Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitisation and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
How should the film look like? It can be filmed professionnally, but it can also be a video made with a mobile phone - the main thing is that the vision and aims of the project become clear. The film should be no longer than 3 minutes.
How will my project be communicated if I make it to the last ten nominees? All nominees will be presented and promoted online at www.e-c-c-e.com and get the chance to present and pitch their project on 12 and on 13 February 2019 to representatives from the arts, culture, politics and economy.
How will the winners be selected? On February 12 2019 the jury selects the winners from the shortlist.
